The 35 stalls run to clothing and textiles, footwear and leather goods, and handicrafts from independent makers. That makes it an evening to browse rather than a place to do the shopping: there is no fresh produce here, and the appeal is walking the promenade after the heat has gone out of the day and picking up something you were not looking for.

Mil Palmeras is a small coastal resort and the market is on the seafront itself, so a bed near the beach leaves you a few minutes' walk from the stalls.
