Markets in Xàbia

The Jávea Municipal Market is the town's main covered food hall, with 25 stalls running weekly. It is the place to shop for fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy products, all under one roof in the old town. The building itself has a notable history, having been constructed on the site of a 17th-century convent and inaugurated in 1946.

Barket i Mercat Municipal Market is the town's second indoor market, operating 15 stalls on a weekly basis. Its focus is narrower than the main hall, concentrating on fish and seafood alongside prepared foods, making it a good stop if you want something ready to eat or a fresh catch to take back to your accommodation.

The Javea Thursday Street Market is the largest regular outdoor market, bringing 30 stalls to the old town each week. Stalls here sell clothing, footwear, handicrafts, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables, and the market typically winds down around midday. The Xàbia Easter Craft and Gastronomy Fair is the biggest single market event in town, with 75 stalls making it substantially larger than any other market in Xàbia. It covers handicrafts, antiques, and prepared foods, and its scale gives it more of a festival atmosphere than a routine weekly market.

Jávea Street Market runs weekly with an outdoor format focused on clothing, footwear, handicrafts, and jewellery, though its stall count has not been formally recorded. The remaining two street markets, the Xàbia September Art and Craft Fair and the Xàbia Weekly Art and Craft Fair, are both dedicated handicraft markets that run outdoors on a weekly basis.
