Markets in Villajoyosa
Alicante, Valencian Community
Villajoyosa market has more variety than its size might suggest. This Costa Blanca town, also known as La Vila Joiosa, runs nine markets in total across the town centre and the La Cala beach area, covering everything from daily fresh produce and fresh fish to antiques, handicrafts and summer night shopping. Most run weekly, so it's straightforward to plan a visit around a specific market day. For more markets along this stretch of coast, the Alicante province markets guide has the full picture.

Where to stay in Villajoyosa
Staying in Town Centre puts you within easy walking distance of the weekly market and the colourful seafront streets. It's a small town, so most accommodation options are compact and good value.
If you'd prefer something with a beach feel, look at places along Playa Centro, where you'll still be close enough to explore on foot. For a bit more comfort, Hotel Montiboli is a well-regarded option just outside the centre with great views of the coast.
