Municipal market in Villajoyosa
The Mercado Central sits on Carrer Canalejas and runs across two floors. Upstairs you'll find meat, cured hams and embutidos, while the ground floor has fresh fish, fruit and vegetables alongside cheeses, salazones and olives. Street markets in Villajoyosa
The main street market takes over Carrer Carles Llorca i Baus every Thursday morning, not far from the Valor Chocolate Museum. Around 30 stalls sell fresh fruit, vegetables and clothing. Over in La Cala de Villajoyosa, a second street market runs on Tuesdays and Saturdays with 40 stalls offering produce, flowers, clothing and footwear. If you're exploring the wider coast, nearby Benidorm and Altea also have good weekly markets worth checking out.
