Markets in Orihuela run on three different days each week, spread across the city and its coastal areas. The Tuesday market along Avenida Marqués de Molins is the main one in the city centre, with around 40 stalls selling fresh fruit, vegetables, clothing, and footwear. Orihuela sits in the fertile Vega Baja del Segura valley, so the locally grown produce is a highlight.
On Saturdays, a similar market sets up on Avenida de la Vega with another 40 stalls. Out on the coast, the Campoamor Cabo Roig market runs every Thursday morning, popular with residents of the nearby urbanisations.
