Dénia Street Market

This is a general market rather than a food one. Clothing and textiles take the largest share of the 30 stalls, with footwear and leather goods next. Handicrafts fill a further run of pitches, and there is a section for flowers and plants. Everything trades in the open air, with no cover if Monday turns wet.

Staying in the old town puts you within easy walking distance of the street market, and it's the most atmospheric part of Dénia to base yourself. Try Dénia Old Town for a central spot, or look at Hotel Chamarel for a comfortable, well-located option close to the action.

If you prefer to be near the beach while still having easy access to the market, Las Marinas is a good choice, with plenty of accommodation along the seafront just a short drive or cycle from the town centre.
