One trading session a week, Sunday morning, with stalls packed away by 2pm, so this is not somewhere to turn up at lunchtime. It is all outdoors, laid out around and beneath the arches rather than in a hall, so there are no fixed counters.

Seasonal vegetables and fruit, bread and bakery from artisan producers, and a run of organic products, alongside stalls selling handicrafts.

Jesús Pobre is a quiet inland village a few minutes' drive from Denia, so staying in Denia itself is your best bet. Try Hotel Chamarel for a comfortable, well-located base, or look for something in Denia Old Town if you want to be within easy reach of the port and the rest of the town's markets. Booking a place in Les Marines gives you a good middle ground, with the beach nearby and Jesús Pobre a short drive away.

Jesús Pobre is a short drive inland from Dénia, and the market is signposted to the Riurau de Benissadeví once you reach the village.
