Markets in Xaló

The Xaló market is one of the best known Saturday rastros on the Costa Blanca. Xaló, also called Jalón in Castilian, sits in the heart of the Jalón Valley surrounded by vineyards and almond groves. Every Saturday morning the town fills with stalls selling antiques, brocante, handicrafts and jewellery along the riverside near the tourist office.

Beyond the rastro, Xaló also hosts a Mercat de la Terra (farmers market) where you can pick up local wine, cheese, bread and seasonal produce from the valley. The Xaló municipal website has the latest details on both markets.
