Runs every Saturday from 9am to 2pm at Parque de Pinosol, an open-air rastro trading in support of APASA, with clothing, fresh produce and general goods.
Javea Solidarity Rastro runs every Saturday from 9am to 2pm at Parque de Pinosol, one of the markets in Javea on the northern Alicante coast. Its Spanish name, Rastro solidario a favor de APASA, says what it is for: the takings go to APASA rather than to a company of traders. Stalls sell clothing, fresh produce and general goods, and everything is outdoors in the park. See the town's other street markets in Javea for the rest of the week.
What you'll find at Javea Solidarity Rastro
Secondhand clothing is the backbone of a rastro, and this one runs from vintage pieces through to ordinary everyday wear, priced to move rather than to be haggled over at length. Alongside it, produce stalls sell seasonal fruit and vegetables, which is unusual for a charity rastro and worth the walk on its own.
The rest is general goods: household bits, odds and ends, the sort of stock that changes from one Saturday to the next. Come early in the five-hour window if you want first pick of it, since the good secondhand finds are gone long before the 2pm pack-up.
Where to stay in Javea
Javea's old town, known as the Pueblo, puts you within easy reach of the Solidarity Rastro and plenty of good spots for a coffee beforehand. Try Javea Old Town for a characterful base, or Parador de Javea if you want something with more comfort and sea views.
If you prefer to stay closer to the beach, the Arenal area is a short drive from the market and has a good mix of accommodation options. Javea Arenal works well if you want easy access to the waterfront after you've finished browsing.

What day is Javea Solidarity Rastro?
Javea Solidarity Rastro runs every Saturday from 9am to 2pm at Parque de Pinosol. It is a weekly market, so the Saturday slot repeats through the year rather than rotating between weeks, and no seasonal break is recorded. Stalls begin packing away towards 2pm, so aim to arrive well before midday.
Where does Javea Solidarity Rastro set up?
Javea Solidarity Rastro sets up at Parque de Pinosol, in the centre of Jávea in Alicante province. It is an open-air market with no indoor hall, so the stalls stand in the park itself and trade from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. Other markets in the town are listed on the Javea markets page.
Do stalls at Javea Solidarity Rastro take cards?
No card acceptance is confirmed for Javea Solidarity Rastro, so bring cash and small notes. Card readers are the exception at Spanish street markets and it varies from one stall to the next, which matters more at a rastro where individual sellers are raising money for APASA rather than trading as a business.
